Inspection FAQ

Common questions before requesting a quote.

Can PACKRIVA inspect an order from my existing supplier?

Yes. The inspection service is available whether PACKRIVA sourced the supplier or you already work with the factory directly.

Who carries out the on-site inspection?

Independent professional inspection partners carry out on-site work. PACKRIVA coordinates your requirements, scheduling, reporting, and follow-up.

How is the inspection price calculated?

Pricing depends on the factory location, inspection type, product, agreed scope, required inspector time or man-days, timing, and any travel requirements. A quotation is provided before scheduling.

What should I provide before an inspection?

Send the supplier location, product or packaging type, order quantity, preferred date, and available purchase order, specifications, approved sample details, or quality concerns.

Does an inspection guarantee that an order has no defects?

No inspection can guarantee a defect-free order. The service documents observations from the agreed scope and sampling approach so you can make a more informed decision.

Can packaging printing and finishes be checked?

Yes, when included in the agreed scope and suitable references are available. Checks may cover color appearance, registration, foil, embossing, lamination, die-cutting, and workmanship.

When should a pre-shipment inspection be arranged?

It is normally arranged when production is sufficiently complete for the agreed sampling and checks, but before the goods are released for shipment. We confirm practical timing during scope review.
