Production release requires customer approval, manufacturer acknowledgement of the same version, fulfillment of the required payment condition, and clearance of critical open items. A PO or payment alone neither approves the version nor waives the other gates.

5. Conditions for starting production
All applicable release conditions must be satisfied:
- Customer approval of this summary and its referenced baseline is recorded.
- The manufacturing supplier has acknowledged the same released versions.
- The required payment condition is satisfied, or an authorized exception is recorded.
- Critical open items and required product-fit, safety and compliance conditions are cleared.
A purchase order or payment alone does not approve a production version.

Changes affecting the approved baseline must be documented and approved before implementation. Where a change requires further validation or sampling, that work must be completed before the affected scope is released.

Follow Production
Based on project risk, follow-up may include first-article check where appropriate, key-process follow-up where appropriate, and production photos, check records or progress updates, as appropriate.

Check Quality
PACKRIVA supply orders have an agreed basic QC scope scaled to risk. Checks may involve Supplier self-check, PACKRIVA Review, or independent third-party inspection. Failures stay on HOLD pending corrective action and reinspection, or a permitted written deviation where applicable.

Prepare Dispatch
Quality approval does not automatically authorize shipment. Shipment release also considers packing, carton count / marks, payment, documents and freight readiness.

Can I start without complete specifications?
Yes. Share the references, product details, packaging type and approximate quantity you have. Missing decisions can be clarified during development.
What is the difference between a budget price and a formal quote?
A budget price supports early direction using stated assumptions. A formal quote is based on more complete, confirmed specifications and commercial conditions.
Is QC included?
Every PACKRIVA supply order includes an agreed basic QC scope. Inspection intensity and the executor depend on project risk; independent inspection is scoped where appropriate.
Can I contract directly with a manufacturer?
Most projects are supplied through PACKRIVA. Direct contracting with a manufacturer can be agreed before the project starts, with PACKRIVA’s coordination role and each party’s responsibilities defined.
